 Banana oatmeal cookies

Ingredients:                               

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 1/2 cups of rolled oats.
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips (optional)

What to do:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Add the rolled oats, vanilla extract, salt, and cinnamon to the mashed bananas. Mix well to combine.
  4. If you're using chocolate chips, fold them into the mixture.
  5. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop the cookie dough onto the lined baking sheet. Use your fingers or the back of a spoon to flatten the cookies slightly.
  6. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Once done, remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
