 Bang bang shrimp pasta

Ingredients:                       

  • 8 oz. spaghetti
  • 1 lb. medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp. Sriracha sauce

What to do

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Toss shrimp in the mixture until fully coated.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add shrimp and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili and Sriracha sauce well.
  5. Add cooked spaghetti to skillet used to cook the shrimp, along with the sauce mixture. Oss is fully coated in sauce.
  6. Add cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss with the spaghetti until everything is evenly distributed.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
