Fried rice (recipe)

 Fried rice

Ingredients:                            

  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 1/2 small onion, diced
  • 1/4 small green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 small carrot, peeled and grated
  • 1/4 cup frozen peas
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

What to do

  1. Cook rice according to package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion, bell pepper, carrot, and peas. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
  3. Add cooked rice, chicken broth, soy sauce, and sugar. Stir to combine. Cook for 3 minutes, or until heated through.
  4. Serve immediately.
