Fried rice (recipe)
Fried rice
Ingredients:
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1/2 small onion, diced
- 1/4 small green bell pepper, diced
- 1 small carrot, peeled and grated
- 1/4 cup frozen peas
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
What to do
- Cook rice according to package instructions.
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion, bell pepper, carrot, and peas. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
- Add cooked rice, chicken broth, soy sauce, and sugar. Stir to combine. Cook for 3 minutes, or until heated through.
- Serve immediately.
