 Korean cream cheese bun

Ingredients:                     

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

What to do

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Combine milk, sugar, and butter in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until the butter is melted.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add the milk mixture to the flour mixture, stirring until well combined.
  5. Add egg and cheddar cheese, stirring until well combined.
  6. Drop dough by spoonful onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
