Pumpkin spice latte (recipe)

 Pumpkin spice latte

Ingredients:                                 

  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 shot espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • Whipped cream (optional)

What to do

  1. Combine the almond milk, pumpkin puree, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and honey in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
  3. Once it reaches a simmer, remove it from the heat and add the espresso or coffee.
  4. Stir to combine and then pour into a mug.
  5. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
