Classic cheesecake
There are few desserts as classic and delicious as cheesecake.
This rich, creamy treat can be made in a variety of ways, but the most classic
cheesecake is made with a graham cracker crust and a simple, yet delicious,
cream cheese filling.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
What to do
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, flour, and vanilla extract, and beat until well blended. Add eggs and beat just until combined.
- Pour mixture into prepared crust.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until set.
- Allow to cool before serving. Enjoy!
