mango pudding (recipe)

 Mango pudding

Ingredients:                                 

  • 1 cup diced mango.
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

What to do

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine mango, sugar, cornstarch, ginger, and cardamom.
  3. Pour mixture into a 9 inch pie dish.
  4. In a small saucepan, heat milk and cream over medium heat until just boiling. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  5. Pour mixture over mango mixture in pie dish.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes, or until pudding is set.
