mango pudding (recipe)
Mango pudding
Ingredients:
- 1 cup diced mango.
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
What to do
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- In a medium bowl, combine mango, sugar, cornstarch, ginger, and cardamom.
- Pour mixture into a 9 inch pie dish.
- In a small saucepan, heat milk and cream over medium heat until just boiling. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
- Pour mixture over mango mixture in pie dish.
- Bake for 25 minutes, or until pudding is set.
