Garlic cheese
toast
Ingredients
- ½ cup + 2tbsp salted butter. Softened, divided
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- ¼ cup Monterey jack cheese
- ¼ cup parmesan cheese, shredded salt and pepper, to taste
- 10 slices thick white bread, slightly dry
What to do
- Oven preheating to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
- 2 tablespoons of butter should be used to butter the bread on one side. Put butter-side down on the baking pan.
- In a food processor, mash together the remaining butter, garlic, and cheese. Pulse to combine.
- Sprinkle over the side of the bread that hasn't been buttered. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
- Turn the broiler on if desired to brown the cheese for 30–60 seconds.
